Levelling-up Victoria's Film & Game Workforce

CG Spectrum, backed by the Victorian Government and VicScreen, has launched the GameChanger Academy to strengthen Victoria’s animation, VFX, and games workforce. The academy offers post-graduate courses, upskilling programs, and over $500K in scholarships through partnerships with leading studios, creating a dynamic learning ecosystem that prepares new talent and advances industry professionals.

What Is GameChanger?

GameChanger Academy gives emerging and established creatives hands-on experience in real studio environments, guided by mentors from Victoria’s leading animation, VFX, and games studios. Launched in February 2025, the Academy will offer two flagship programs designed to address skills shortages and prepare talent for industry demands:
