At an early age, Firas knew the future was in his hands. As a matter of fact, he took it with him wherever he went. The Game Boy he received as a gift for his eighth birthday was his introduction to the wonderful world of gaming, and that year that he told himself "when I grow up I want to make video games". Upon graduating with a Bachelor of Computer Science, Firas got his first gig in the games industry at Silicon Knights. Hired as an AI programmer, he fell in love with making AI and gameplay systems come to life.

His first game credit came on Silicon Knights' Too Human. Next he moved on to Ubisoft Montreal, where he had the privilege of working with some of the best developers in the industry, releasing almost a game a year. He would later transfer to Ubisoft Toronto to be closer to his family while still honing his craft and releasing titles that were a dream to work on. His Ubisoft credits are Far Cry 3, 4, 5, Assassin's Creed 3. Your Shape, Splinter Cell: Blacklist, Far Cry Primal, and Watchdogs 2 and 3. He currently is working as a Senior AI Programmer at Splash Damage.
