Hosted by CG Spectrum's Career Coach Holly Puckett, this panel will feature former VFX Artist Manager Magdalena Bisogni, clinical psychologist Karen Walker, and CG Spectrum's Student Experience Manager Penny Gaubatz. Magdelena has years of experience working closely with artists in the industry, Karen has a demonstrated history of working in the mental health care industry, and Penny works closely with students to support their learning experience and wellness.

These experts will provide invaluable insights and guide you through practical strategies for overcoming common obstacles, such as stress, self-doubt, fear of failure, and imposter syndrome, and steering you towards confidence, resilience, and success in your creative career.

Karen Walker | Clinical Psychologist - Karen is a clinical psychologist with a Bachelor of Behavioural Science (Honours) focused in Psychology from La Trobe University. With a demonstrated history of working in the mental health care industry, Karen is skilled in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, Addiction Recovery, Clinical Supervision, and Medicine. She works collaboratively with her patients, predominantly using a cognitive behavioral framework or Acceptance and Commitment therapy.

Penny Gaubatz

Penny Gaubatz | Student Experience Manager - Penny studied Concept Art and Illustration at CG Spectrum. Not only a talented artist, Penny is also highly organized and great with people, skills that helped her pioneer CG Spectrum's Technical Assistant program and led to her involvement in Community Management. She is now providing ongoing support for students as a Student Experience Manager, helping guide them towards success.
