With over 25 years of experience, Carlos has contributed to DreamWorks classics including Shrek 2, the Madagascar trilogy, and the original How to Train Your Dragon films. Now he is helping bring the 2025 live-action remake to life, offering a unique behind-the-scenes perspective on how the franchise has evolved across formats.
In this live session, Carlos will walk through his animation process, share career insights, and reflect on what it takes to animate a global fan favourite in two very different mediums. He will be joined by fellow CG Spectrum mentor Scott Claus, who will guide the conversation and answer audience questions.
