We're hiring a Customer Service Representative!

CG Spectrum is looking for an online Customer Service Representative with a passion for helping students achieve their goals. Work with us remotely to help solve student questions, advise on courses, and work with our award-winning group of online mentors to provide students with the best experience possible during their learning journey.

This position is completely remote so ideal candidates will have a strong sense of time management, self motivation, and desire to help.

About the position


Responsibilities
  • Ensuring high quality, coherent, and consistent processing of student enquiries within the 24hr turnaround time.
  • Data entry and analysis where needed in the content management system (CMS) and making sure records are easily accessible when needed.
  • Providing student support through email, phone and live chat.
  • Answering the phone and instructing/assisting students.
  • Assisting students in minor technical LMS issues and relaying specific questions towards appropriate academic/operations team.
  • Reporting to finance and student services to ensure invoices and reimbursements are processed in a timely manner and maintaining accurate records for auditing purposes.
  • Attending and organising meetings, taking minutes and keeping notes.
  • Other duties as directed by the management team.
Requirements
  • Ability to work independently, organise workload effectively and manage projects and programs.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, excellent relationship management and customer service skills.
  • Great team working skills and the ability to understand team needs and respond appropriately.
  • Ability to work to a deadline and prioritise according to business needs.
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills including excellent negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
  • Strong decision making and problem solving skills.
  • IT skills including MS Office programs (Excel, Word and PowerPoint),
  • GoogleDocs/Sheets and LMS such as Blackboard, Canvas or Moodle
  • Knowledge and experience of relevant legislation and administrative policy and procedures including records management and privacy requirements.
  • Relevant professional qualification (desirable).
